Have never had a problem with the keys but went away for a week and now my keys won't turn in the drivers door and only just a bit in the passengers?! Both keys work fine on the boot.

The boot central locking doesn't seem to be working so could have a flat battery, but this shouldn't affect the front doors?

Any help much appreciated, she's looking a bit sad and the sun is shining!!!

Passenger door could be deadlocked, if the central locking was left in this state.
The driver's door should open with the key, but it is being asked to do so without the assistance of the lock motor, and the effects of twenty years of wear and lack of lubrication are now showing through.
Try lifting the driver's door handle at the same time as you turn the key.
If this fails you'll have to hope that the problem is a flat battery, and attempt to recharge it. The bonnet can be opened via the slot provided at the front to reach the battery, or you can reach up from under the left hand side of the engine bay to clip the charger wire onto the starter solenoid terminal, or you can even connect a small charger to the boot lamp connections.
