mims 15 inch alloys hitting track rod end

swapped my wheels from one e30 to another started driving heard this grinding noise stopped looked at wheel and the track rod bottom was grinding against the rim but the other side didn't and had no problems with them when they wear on the other e30. any one had this problem

Yep, I had that on the first wheels I bought my E30, which were Mims 1900. I ditched the wheels and bought OZs instead.

but the other side does not rub and they did not rub on the other e30 could the track rods not have been fitted properly or are they thicker, will have to measure both cars track rods when i get timeRav335uk wrote:Wrong offset.

The MIM wheels are a very tight fit, so you are probably right in that there could be an issue with the Track rod ends.
