Dipstick and coolant pipe

In the pic below, can the little T-piece on the dipstick be blocked of?

Also, there's two coolant pipes circled, the smaller of the 2 where should it be routed to? I'm re-routing the larger one of the two so it goes to the battery tray, does the smaller one follow or can it be blocked of? I'm using a M3 expansion tank with alloy e36 m3 rad.

That connector can be cut off the dipstick, its only tack welded on.
The small coolant pipe is the return for the throttle heater, so you probably wont want to use it, cut it off short and weld it up 8)
