nearside rear, inside.

offside rear, been done previously, not sure to what standard, opinions please.

but christ is she pretty from a few steps back!!

me and a mate went over the entire roof with a cloth and a magnet, it all seems like metal to me, i need to get the roof lining out to see what the underside is like though.

currently awaiting work to pay me what they owe me so i can get some repairs done :)

That's just the start of it, if those pics are anything to go buy.
I would check round the accelerator pedal area, firewall. by the fusebox, ans these are common areas too. 8O

thottle pedal mount needs some work, is there a decent way of repairing these?

firewall and fusebox seem to be solid.

Tail panel, under the boot seal is common also. Take the clove box out and look at the metalwork of the bulkhead too and if you can get the side skirts off
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Try and get a section of metal from a donor car where the throttle mount isn't rotted, that is what I had to do because you can't buy a repair pedal mounting panel thingy.

Well done for being brave! 8)

Check Matt's thread out

http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... 99&start=0

He has had the front pedal sections welded up. Although it was literally just cut out and replaced from a breaker I had with good floors.

If you need any replacement sections, take a picture and give me a shout.

Although the inner arches will need to be bought new as they're not something that can be chopped out that easily.

Also, that driver side rear arch, I would wire wheel back and inspect it rather than leaving it. It can easily be retreated and covered up if its good.

good luck with it , it looks 8O quite bad, far worse than mine was but its dooable, just done all the same sort of thing myself- new rear inner/outer rears (yours will need that too) , battery tray, new pedal mount etc , with the pedal- get one of the above like duke etc, to cut out the whole mount with surrounding floor, cut out the old and do the whole section, have a good look at and poke

when you have the dash and deadening and carpets out- remove all the floor sound deadening via heating it up and peeling it all off and bin it (buy a whole new lot cheap on ebay) and have a good rust hunt, there will definatly be floor issues to be found , and a good look at the bulkhead , do some research on some of the threads on here to see the common rust areas like the bulkhead grommet and various brackets and stuff , get the car properly stripped and evaluate it all before spending any money on it, but if you save it and do it all properly youl love the car and the journey you have with it, best of luck, but do it once, do it properly and thoroughly
