Wonder what it will weigh, compared to a standard E30 M3? Getting on for 1.5 tonnes, I imagine...

That's quite impressive.the ingenuity and design is amazing but i wouldn't have that done to mine.its messing with the classic lines of the e30
but good luck to the man

I'm sure it was in there, that it'll weigh more than the origional M6 did, with the aded weight of the rollcage, and other metalwork.Speedtouch wrote:Wonder what it will weigh, compared to a standard E30 M3? Getting on for 1.5 tonnes, I imagine...
IIRC, about 1.8 tons.

But it'd handle like a normal M6 wouldn't it?

It's basically an M6 with an E30 body, so I would presume it would.

Doesn't the M6 have a carbon fibre roof?so all that metal would move the center of gravity a bit higher

I don't think the owners that bothered about the roof.
But then again, it's only gone live today, so it's still in the "Process" of the build.
