I'm going to be making a stainless exhaust manifold for my own car and would consider making some more if anyone would be interested.
Just throwing it out there to see if I could generate some interest.
My apologies in advance if I have posted this in the wrong section.

I woud be interested, subject to prototype pic,s and a price that matched the quality of build. Knock one up, post the results and im sure you will get a lot more interest. I have heard that the stock m42 manifold is pretty good as it is though.

Put some more info up (i.e. will it be equal length, what size primaries etc) and you might get more interest.

Thanks for the replies.
The thing with is that that there wouldn't be much benefit over the stocker as it already performs quite well, as AJAY said. Basically I plan on copying the stock manifold only making it hug the engine block a bit tighter to give some clearance around the steering knuckle. And possibly making it a touch shorter to be able to hang the exhaust higher up under the car.
As for the price, I'm not set on that yet as I haven't even made one yet but it would be sensible.

Like the man has said, there's very little if anything to be had in performance terms on the iS exhaust system.
If it offers better clearance to non E30 steering racks or less chance of cracking then it could still be worthwhile. Saying that I ran a Z3 rack on an iS with a standard E30 UJ with no clearnance issues.

Yeah thats just it really, I've swaped in a e46 rack and with my new UJ set up in there it's just tight. In fact I had to clearance the manifold for it to even fit. So with that being said I want to make a tarty upgrade that will provide plenty of clearance.
