Folks,

am having a bit of a mare bleeding my M20 (newley rebuilt since head cracked and colling system full of mayo)

I have read the wiki and just realised that she has a drain plug..but i cant for the life of me find this plug..does anyone have photo of the location of this bolt?

any tips as to bleeding would be most welcome.

Thanks

From underneath the car it is just below the exhaust manifold on the side of the block.

Its not very accessible.

As above. From underneath look directly up from where the drivers side of the ARB crosses the wishbone. It's up on the side of the block behind the oil filter housing, a 19mm nut and washer..

here's a photo to assist...

I found that even when the 19mm bolt is removed, you have to poke the hole in the block to dislodge the build up of scale
