Hi are there any scrapyards near exeter I may be able to get parts from? I'm based in Dartmouth, but work in exeter. So anything nearby would be handy.

Hi Matt
Whitehorse & Newburrys have none.
Woodbury says he has about 5 in storage but won't get them out. I told him I wanted 2 valances,2 wheel arches and a filler neck. His responce was its not worth getting them out!!!!
But he did tell me to try fritzbits in Wellington

Pretty much nailed them all. There's also one out of the top of the west side of Exeter called Redhills, but I think that might be owned by Newberys now.broadie wrote:Hi Matt

Others you could try are: kirton, allparts, blackbourgh, exmouth and the one just east of honiton on the A303.
Havn't got a clue about further south or west in devon.

Mega expensive it seems. A mate wanted a part for a Seat, that scrappy wanted £25 for it if my mate removed it himself - turns out it was £17 from main dealer, they even next day delivered for him!broadie wrote:One just east of honiton on the A303

^ Newberys. They are good at ripping people off.
Best one is Larry's at Woodbury. White Horse is second best.

Depends. He has the scrapyard which may have something in it, but then he has another lockup over greendale, but it's a case of whether he can be arsed to fish something out.

I'm probably popping to Quarry breakers in Paignton tomorrow to weigh some scrap in. I'll go for a ganders to see if there are any e30's.

Gents, Woodbury car breakers have a two door in red and a four door in grey, he said there is aLHD touring but i Didn't see it. The others are on the left hand side near a action packers van.
I had some parts from there couple a weeks ago.
Brodie, the four door up there is on bottle tops can't remember what condion but the Two door has aftermarket 15" rims with new rubber.
Recommend emailing (pops up high on google for details etc) and calling a few days in advance at Woodbury's, they had the greendale yard open for me and its a tight squeeze to
Walk around and carry parts.
I know it's early troublesome toddler will not let me sleep!!
With larry its prob best to state you are happy to drive to the other Yard, about 2 miles from the ham lane main site.
If you need more details PM me.
No e30s at quarry, gorman metals, Olympus, or milber scrapyards
Good luck, proper old school gems up there I haven't seen for years!

Have had problems when I had my last e30
Trying to get a straight answer, just persist
As not many scrapyards have them around,
Larry is just very blunt, I said I'd be back for repair panels
.... Didn't really get a response, each to their own and his prices are very good!, 50 notes for a door and the plastic bits and bobs were free!

Heard that was on the cards shame really. Allparts in Exeter have a pre facelift 2 door, not much left though got a sunroof lid and cables recently from there.
