Just wandering if anyone has fitted the M43 8valve chain driven cam motor from the E36, and what the result was?

slower than a M42/M44 swap at a guess :mad:

unless you have a reason for using the M43, swapping the M42/M44 is a better option for the same amount of work (excluding the exhaust manifold issue)
