Mod Team

Rich aka Grrrmachine, as you already know, is the guy behind the wiki (and fine job he is doing) has decided to take us up on the offer of joining the Mod Team and of course the Wiki Team.

Wiki Team

Rich aka Grrrmachine, which I've mentioned above.

Dave aka Kedge, has also joined the Wiki team, although he has already been work very hard with Rich on the Wiki in recent months.

If you would like to contribute to the wiki please contact Rich or Dave or alternatively check out the new wiki forum which will be open soon for you to post your ideas in for the wiki.

Homepage / News / COTM Team

As you have probably noticed the great work going into the Home page and the COTM currently.

Headed up by Jim320i and helped out by Verde these two have done a great job of reviving the dull frontpage and our dying COTM comp.

Again they will have Homepage / COTM forum so can throw them your suggestion for cotm and news ideas.

Well done Jim and Euan

There will be a few more Teams appearing over the next few week to tackle other areas of the Zone, the biggest being the Event / Meets team !

It'll be good to get the meets team organised, perhaps regional sections.

I remember i organised a mids meet once, as none had happened for a long while, it was at the Toby carvery, Stonebridge, it was the biggest one the mids had seen for a while, over 30 odd e30's.

In hindsight it was'nt the best venue, however it did kick start a few more Meets where Rav God bless him jumped on the bandwagon and took over organising, the rest is history, dwindling numbers.... i cant remember the last meet he organised, he does love the title thou

I think the more local meets we can get organised, the more that will turn up at the nationals perhaps, gotta love chatting shi*e about E30's with other deluded types..........

The Meets section is not Rav failing, it ours, we took him on, dumped him in at the deepend and left him to get on with it, he did the best he could with little or no help from us.

How many of you offered to help him?

I did many a time, i gave up after numerous attempts to gee him up, it is truly a thankless job thou, especially after lots of time and effort and then only 1/3 of people turn up, it can get very tedious very quickly with no support.

Hopefully Rav will rise to the challenge and get something going and i'll support him all the way, lets get it on....................

Would any of our new Team members like to do something with the Zone Gold section?

There are some amazing threads on here that deserve to be highlighted, and at the minute the Gold section is a bit thin to say the least. It might be a good home for some of the very best resto threads and other things like that that that showcase the Zone at it's very best..

Edit: maybe even split it into Builds/Comedy/Zone Spirit sections, or something along those lines?
