hi all i have been looking at a few e90 msport 320d but they all seem to be high millage i havent had anything to do with diesel cars so i was wondering what is about the limit i should look at for the millage? would you say stay away from a 56 plate with 156k?

Mileage that high on a car only six/seven years old would most likely indicate that most of its life has been spent on the motorway.

Check its service history. At that mileage I'd be most concerned about the turbo than anything else

I always thought diesel was far safer than petrol especially with the modern particulate filters.
