This is one of my favourites. Original version of my avatar. This was when I was asked by the local dealership if they could lend the car for the weekend during the launch of the E92 coupe. It was sat pride of place smack bang in the middle of the showroom, and I'm pleased to say, got a lot more attention than a lot of the more modern stuff strewn around the place

Do entries close at the end of the day 23rd? Not had a chance to get any pictures yet and Sat will be the last chance for this comp (I like to take new pics for each comp within the competition time frame).

No need to make a special change just for me...especially as my pic won't be amazing.
I don't even know what I want to do for it yet, would just like to take some daytime pics...unsure where mind as I'm new to the area.

Surely it is the car and not the photography that merits the prize, otherwise the person with the best camera and photography skills wins? Plus I did half the work for the photo
It's why I don't bother entering. That Cook bloke takes good photos whilst people like him enter what chance have I got with my boots disposable wind-on? I could compete if we did an under the sea theme, it's waterproof to 5M depth
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

You reckon you could get a photo to match an " e30s and water theme "Duke137 wrote:EFAdiable wrote:The person with the best Photoshop-skills wins. They usually also own the most expensive and top of the range cameracapnmchl wrote:Jim or Verde, any comment?

I want ghost riding/timered/remote shots as a theme....i have some pic ideas but I could damage myself and the car.
But I need to think of something for Freestyle.
People having better skills does make it harder but I enjoy using the camera do enter even though I domt expect to win. Its all a but of fun.

Well thats what its all about, the next theme i think will be timer shots. As for skill its about learning and having fun. Its creativity I like not necessarily skills

Looked at the weather report for the weekend, was hoping for sun/dry/only slightly damp...rain and snow is forecast.
I still want to try and get the car out for a run so will take the camera with me and go exploring around.

I'd rather grow a 325i Touring than some lettuce
Not that she's grown much in the two years she's been planted in there!
