Getting ready to buy some replacement parts for my cabby, (to fix the front end damage!).
Can someone tell me what bits are cabby specific???
I believe the front wing will be, but is the bumper any different? Lower panel/valance??? Bonnet???
Any other specific bits on/around the front end that I need to be aware of???
Thanks in advance!!!

Just the wings. Be wary that cabs were facelifted about 2 years after saloons when ordering parts.
2nd hand cabby wings are harder to come by and as such more expensive at approc £100 per side.
New ones are dealer only and are approx £250 per side.

Front wing difference is just the sill section, the cabbie wing has a slightly different section spot-welded on,the join is covered by that full length trim strip.
It is possible,if your lower rear wing section is undamaged,to transfer this bit to a stock saloon wing, this,of course, lets you choose from a much larger selection of s/h saloon front wings!

Even if you manage to source a cab. wing, if this lower piece is in good condition on the old bent wing, it's a saleable item. Don't just bin it.daimlerman wrote:Front wing difference is just the sill section, the cabbie wing has a slightly different section spot-welded on,the join is covered by that full length trim strip.

Thanks guys!!!
Mine's a '93 on a K plate, so is a facelift model.
I'm assuming no difference with the wing for facelift? Just the front panel where the fogs mount???
Think the lower piece is ok, but will be trying to source a cab wing if possible - need this to be as easy/cheap as poss!!!
If you know anyone breaking a brilliant-rot cab, let me/them know!!!
Hopefully I'll put a thread in the wanted section sometime next week, listing all the bits I need!!!
