Take a look at this site too https://digitalsounddirect.co.uk/shop/login.html

Some great units with great prices on there, I have dealt with them myself, and the service was 100%.

I had a right bargain on there, bought a Kenwood CD/MP3 player for Ԛ£100, cheapest elsewhere online was Ԛ£200.

Do head units that are sold in different contries have different languages on the front ?

Example: would a head unit sold in Germany have german writing on the buttons?

That's what I've got... make sure it's MDLP compatible though if that's what you use...

They're usually pretty cheap on eBay - I can check my model number if you want :thumb:

Do you not want to get an MP3 / CD player as they will play both CD format , MP3 and WMA i think. Then you can burn loads of tracks onto one disc ?

just a thought

I've just been out (in the rain!) to check & mine's a 673R... & my changer's the same as yours too! :thumb:

IIRC, the 671r is pretty much the same, but doesn't do MDLP.

Thanks for checking (in the rain too)

do you like the 673R ? How much was it when you bought it ?

I have a KRC-378R crappy Tape Deck. There's nothing wrong with it, but i want a MD player in the car (plus i havn't owned a cassette tape in 10 years)

I can't fault it really... Not tried it with the built in amp so I can't comment on that, but everything else is fine. The blue power button is ridiculously bright, but a permenant marker soon sorted that out! :D

I think I got it for about Ԛ£60 with the changer off eBay... Probably about 6 months ago.

Now I either need to attempt some ridiculously fine soldering, or get a new MD recorder :hammer:

Tempted to get a HD based mp3 player & switch across to that, but MD still suits me fine really...

Best kenwoods are the KDC x090 series. I've got 7090s in both my cars, and theyre great. Motorised flip front, and about everything you could want. Got both mine from ebay, for Ԛ£100 each and one came with a CD changer too.
There's plenty of 6090s on ebay at the moment.
