I'm planning to use some spare front ones with a fitting kit, will they foul the hood when its raised and lowered?

Part numbers for rear headrests are exactly the same as fronts. There IS no difference.
The reason some leather ones look different is because the rears have shrunk in the sun.
The reason the hood sometimes fouls the headrests is because it's not adjusted correctly.

I thought that cab rears are asymetric with a curved outer edge. I will post a pic later.B7 wrote:Part numbers for rear headrests are exactly the same as fronts. There IS no difference.

stew72 if somebody is able to confirm this and if you are looking to fit black leather, I have what I believe is a pair of black leather cab rears that I would like to swap for black leather fronts to fit into the rear of my 2 door.

Nope! I've posted this before. Look up the part numbers and you'll find a front leather headrest has exactly the same part number as a front. If they are curved then they have shrunk in the sun and are scrap.suedenim wrote:I thought that cab rears are asymetric with a curved outer edge. There is a difference between convertible and saloon in that a saloon is piped and the convertible is stitched.

Cheers, mine are piped, but I guess that shouldn't make any difference.
