Forget all the tinted lights/black kidneys nonsense. All that means is that when you come to sell it the only people who'll be interested will be total scummers. There's a much better exhaust available too - it's OEM... :D

Sounds like a fair plan.

As said above, do mods that can be put back to standard and that should keep it saleable if you ever part with it.

Alloys, choose whatever is your preference, there's a thread in the Wiki for popular choices for the E30.

Springs I'd say Eibach pro kit or H&R

Exhaust, nothing wrong with a Scorpion, sure they have a lifetime warranty but it's £550 off the shelf then you have to arse fitting it. Try giving Jeff a call at Pipewerx, they will custom build you one for the same money fitted, also has a lifetime warranty, and their work is second to none. If you know big dub, the twin vr6 turbo engined baby blue golf, Ian Birch built that, he now owns Pipewerx.

There's nothing on your to do list that sounds too extreme. I agree with Snakebrain on the exhaust issue, a booming back box is the ultimate council statement.

Don't listen to people on here, your car, do as you like. Just do it to a high standard!

I like my Scorpion, relatively reserved below 3k then a nice howl after that. Not sure if I could live with it in the UK with longer journeys though. Also no problems with fitting, mine bolted up perfectly

Other thing to remember is don't be a sheep. It's your car, don't feel you have to conform to a uniform, do what you like, but do it tastefully and use quality parts. This means no dodgy fibreglass and grp from Poland!

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't saying Scorpion is a poor fit, it's the only off the shelf I'd buy, just meant you have to get your hands dirty fitting it.

Biggest difference between that and Pipewerx, Scorpion use 1.75in pipe, Pipewerxuse 2in. And they will tailor sounds to suit you. And its fitted, for the same price
