How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Its quite handy that this thread has cropped up when it has lol. I noticed last night that one of my bulbs are blown so was looking on ebay to replace them. Then i got a bit confused with which ones i will need and when it started talking about cambus sytem it totally threw me as i aint got a clue what thats on about. Would any one know which ones on ebay i would need for my 1989 'F' reg 318i? If anyone could help me out id appreciate it, and it will save me doing another post. Cheers

Is that just new lenses with standard bulbs? What a difference!

I'd recommend binning the standard fixing screws and replacing with a stainless steel equivalent.

I think you can buy a pair from BMW for approx £10.
I was being a lazy coont and bought Hella ones off ebay from Jim's mate as I had money in my paypal and I didn't want anything else from BMW at the time. I also couldn't be arsed to drive there as it is the wrong side of town from me

I'm sure you can buy cheaper elsewhere but I couldn't be arsed to penny pinch for the sake of £2.00 saved

cambus that would be referring to led bulbs iirc,as the led use a lower wattage and can affect the warning lights saying a bulb is out when its not due to the lower watts , im only going go by what i read a long while back , i"m sure a zoner will correct me if i"m wrong.Rich2388 wrote:Its quite handy that this thread has cropped up when it has lol. E30 doesn't have canbus, but does have a bulb failure warning system (assuming an E30 with a 'proper' engine), which will be triggered by a simple LED replacement bulb in a number plate light.

$7.24 on the bmwfans.info version.
£10.74 on CP4L, with at least 7.5% off, up to 15%.

Might have to add vat to that, check to see if it comes as a complete unit with screws gasket and bulb
