Has anyone replaced the front wishbones on the M3. The bolts for the inner ball joints are hidden away.
How do you get at them?

Are they not the same as a normal E30...?
I used a LONG extension arm down from the top, with an adjustable flexi joint connected to the socket... had to 'guide' it in to get them to attach... bit of a pain, but did it.

Erm, dunno. I've only done it on a 318iS and a 320i, so I can't help you there. I didn't get around to doing the ones on the 320iS... someone else did them. Sorry.

Hi Karl , its should be the same on any E30 , I use a extension bar and a deep socket , if the ball joint starts to turn then put a trolly jack under it and lift it a bit . I use a angled ring spanner on the subframe balljoint , then just unbolt the lollypop brackets with the bush in from the body of the car . You'll need to replace the bush in these brackets too .
Hope this helps , Steve .
