So I've purchased a genuine tech 2 kit for my pre facelift, I understand there is some modifying to fit this kit. Can anyone provide me with more information and requirements to fitting? I'm curios about how the front lower valance bolts on and the mating of the rear bumper to arch? Has anyone done this modification to their e30 with pics?

It's goning to look wrong.
You need a face lift front valance and face lift front bumper irons to fit the front on all nuts and bolts. The rear you will have to get creative with as the rear bumper is longer at the sides than the pre face lift. If you weld pre face loft mounts on to a face lift bumper you will either have to trim the bumper sides to match or have a big gap between the rear valance and the bumper.
side skirts are the same fitting.

Not a full Tech 2 kit, but this explains how different the ends of a pre- and facelift car are:

You'll have to do a lot more work than that to make a Tech 2 kit fit.

sell the kit, buy a tech 1 kit and have it look decent
even if you do manage to make it fit, with the reg etc it will just look molested and wrong
