does the m42 engine have adjustable cams?

Is it true or possible to adjust the cams on the 318is engine? I heard rumors that it had adjustable cams??

It does but I havent hear of anybody finding big power gains by adjusting them

A rolling road remap with everthing else in top condition might make close to 150bhp

inlet cam can be adjusted 5 degrees, you are just moving the powerband, whether you want more low down torque or higher
M40 rightness if you can get to 6000rpm noone can hear your tappets
