I pass this quite frequently, thought some of you would enjoy it. Couldn't get any decent pictures as there was a car parked next to it.

It's RHD, silver leatherzzz and desperately wants saving. Unfortunately the owner won't part with it.

Other side is better, but needs a new scuttle for sure:

Apart from the scuttle and scrapes on the bumpers it's remarkably clean. I have never seen rear arches so perfect:

Ran my hand round them and not a spot of rust on the inners at all.

For sure. Assume bulkhead/battery tray will need work. Floor pan was in perfect condition though. Think it had about 65k on the clocks.

Shame about the rot. Looks nice otherwise.

It's a shame when people don't want to part a car to someone who will repair it and look after it, but at the same time, it's their car and if they feel they doing a good enough job then there's no changing their minds.

Looks like it has gone from the screen downward
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

From what I've seen M3s suffer from the scuttle more than normal E30s, I'm assuming its down the the bonded windscreen or windscreen fitters

It used to be. Haven't seen it move in 2, maybe 3 years although it was far cleaner than the last time I had a look at it

Yep, think it was Birds who did the conversion. Loses a lot of appeal for me though

Judging by how many brand new bulkhead-steering column brackets they threw out you might be right!

BMW are great for doing things like that. A friend that worked at a dealers picked up a few brand new eaton superchargers from Mini Cooper S that had the JCW upgrade done at the dealer

It is a genuine Birds conversion. Checked with someone who knows more about it than I do.

What racks did they use?

probably just standard rhd e30 racks. Its the genuine lhd m3 racks which got binned when the cars were converted that's a shame :(

and just because the conversion was done by a bmw dealer doesn't make it genuine
cheers,

Ah I see. And yes, I know what you mean. I was just saying its a Birds one as opposed to a Fred in a shed affair. I do wonder how well the modifications have been carried out
