Hey guys,
Need some help with an e46. My drivers side dipped beam has died on my 2003 330ci sport (facelift) and I'm not sure what kind of light it is, It looks like factory fitted xenon as there are warning stickers on the chassis. Does anyone know what light unit is this and what parts I might need?

Thanks fellas

You sure its the bulb that's gone, as if it has xenons these rarely give up (plus these can be stupidly expensive to buy), its either that ballast or the igniter that's on its way out? You may find the light suddenly come back on if the you remove the black cap to access the bulbs and just push the connections back together.

Hey Andy,
'll go try that right now. It's a funny one, as it doesn't show as a blown bulb on the dash until i turn the lights on.

If the bulbs ok then swap the ballast over from the other headlamp.if the o/s lamp still does not light then it will be the control unit under the lamp.you can just see it on the right of your picture
