Ive become stuck with my ignition, I lost the key so brought a new lock set and key... ive now missplaced the new ignition... Ive tried to drill out the old ignition barrel to no avail. Im at wits end with it so have decided to put it on a switched ignition, now im not bothered about security as its a track car and lives in my garage.
Can anyone tell me which coloured wires do what please.. i basicly want a switch then a push button start... im mechanicly sound... eleccy dunce! If anyone can do a idiots guide id appreciate it very much. Thanks in advance.

Plain red is the permanent 12V + from the battery, plain purple is the 'accessories' feed, that normally work with the key in the first position, plain green is the switched ignition live, that feeds the ignition coil and activates the engine ECU, and black/yellow is the start signal to the starter motor solenoid.
