How strange. Wonder if it may be via other car clubs that he knows of you. He currently drives a black C5 RS6 saloon if that rings any bells?

Possibly because it,s not a sports saloon but is an auto.

Just re read your post Verde, the smaller engined Touring is dearer
to insure, not cheaper.

Ah that's who my daily is insured with, £500 though on a Golf VR6, that is my main car though and I accrue NCB on that policy

Both around £125 per annum fully comp with limited 3k mileage
Didnt change much when we moved from down south to midlands either

Aviva have split cover between my daily and my e30 which I think is fairly good.... although I must admit Ive not really looked at it in much detail

£6 pounds per month more than I would have otherwise iirc I have a multi car with my 26 year old missus in a minicooper s so that bumps it up to 94 for the 3 cars.but I tjink I am only around £40 of that.
