For any of the Scottish zoners there is a deal on groupon today to refurb 4 wheels for £80. Might be of interest to some.

Whats the score with it? Certain places you have to get it done? Borbets could use a nip up and a polishing

It's for TJ car repair centre in Glasgow. Will only cover a basic refurb in silver I reckon but at that price seems a good deal to tidy up a rough set of wheels.

Just had my set sandblasted and straightened, and that was 140 quid without filling and painting them. So 80 quid for a fill and blowover seems like a bargain.

It's just going to be a face refurb, much like a smart repair like the mobile wheel repairs you can get done

Polsta in order to deal via quidco any company's have to discount there prices by a fair chunk. I paid £160 for a full refurb so even if this is faces only (the only bit you see anyway) its a decent deal especially if you have some tatty BBS you want tidied up to sell on.polsta wrote:until they go missing or come back in need of a decent refurb ! you have to wonder @ 20 a corner what they would do or how desperate they must be

Most likely, and it's not that far out, my smart repair guy used to charge me £25 a cornerKos wrote:It's just going to be a face refurb, much like a smart repair like the mobile wheel repairs you can get done
