I got £180 on Classic 1.5 years ago.
I didn't have to check the 'modified' box, unlike SOME cars on here lol.

£180 TPFT non classic.
£247 FC I think it was.
Not bad for 'Not available in Northern Ireland' insurance levels!
Amazingly the e36 M3 insurance also has dropped from about £800 to £300 this year. Guess being 35 does actually make a difference... officially not a young driver anymore it seems!

i think classic companies have a minimum age of 25 , or they can be funny about classic policy and a well below average yearly milage if its a younger persons only car (ie if your over 25 and its a 2nd car a classic policy is cheap)magpie wrote:did you try Pete Best ?tylert wrote:i live in the middle of no where so cant be that and i did shop around alot :/ e30's just seem to be expensive to insure for me
Lancaster are the only ones I know of that do 21 upwards, but online quotes are very hit and miss, best to ring thempolsta wrote:i think classic companies have a minimum age of 25 , or they can be funny about classic policy and a well below average yearly milage if its a younger persons only car (ie if your over 25 and its a 2nd car a classic policy is cheap)magpie wrote:did you try Pete Best ?tylert wrote:i live in the middle of no where so cant be that and i did shop around alot :/ e30's just seem to be expensive to insure for me
