guys what do i need to change in order to convert my front brakes from the 318 setup to the 325 setup. is it everything?

Im pretty much certain theyre the same diameter, just vented, so just the calipers and a pair of discs and pads

thought so, but arent all pads on e30's same? if they are is it best to change them if im putting new discs on?

I think the brakes on the cab are good enough, mine are vented and discs all round.....so whats the difference?

If you have vented discs on the front of your car, then they are an identical set up as a 325i, maybe just different brand of caliper (ATE and Girling).
If you have solid discs on the front, then as has been said, you will need the calipers from a car with vented discs, and the vented discs themselves, and some new pads just to be on the safe side, even though they are all the same.

WOOHOO, Mine has vented discs, so no need to change them when I stick a 2.7 into it!

Alway's best to stick a new set of pad's on new disc's geese, they need to bed into each other :)

Its an easy swap Nav, the 325 calipers bolt straight onto your existing hangers.

My bm got all that, and Pagid fast road pads about 2 months before i sold it :(

Was expecting the more from them to be honest, and i cant blame the pipes as they were fitted the year before.
