jonbuoy, got to raise the rear slightly mate as Charlie bounces around in his baby seat LOL as you probably know with "Minnie Me" and the exhaust scraps the driveway when you drive onto it.
Marc, be round soon fella and i'll try not to break any more of your tools LOL.
Malcolm, be there soon good buddy - only thing is if it's a German night, there'll be a punch up over what car to bring and Sarah always wins!!!!!!
Ben, be keeping a look out for you mate.
Better get off this thread now as i've jacked it from Sarah whilst she's at work LOL, boy am i gonna pay for this later but just couldn't resist it.
Off to work on her car now.
Neil.

I want to do a few things to it. The door seals were changed on it today as were the rear springs (from karans tourer) but I think it is sitting slightly to high now. An e34 tool tray was fitted as well. Also had a m-tec1 steering wheel put on.

I find Haynes manuals pretty good normally

I'm gonna give up and look for a Bently manual i think.....

i think they wheels look nasty cheap imo, for a start they are Fox..jonbuoy wrote:Fair enough geese, but i think though's wheel's look pretty good, make's the car look modernNelly wrote:jonbuoy, got to raise the rear slightly mate as Charlie bounces around in his baby seat LOL as you probably know with "Minnie Me" and the exhaust scraps the driveway when you drive onto it.
BBS' really suit the car and the handling.. altho there are other rims out there that do also, they are just quite rare

Agreed jhonno, the Fox wheels are from a Vauxhall and not to Sarah's taste, got some genuine 16" Hartge rims to go on once their referbed, hoping these should set the car of nice.
TommyC, the haynes manuel for the E30 does also cover the 5 series mate, they never done one soley for the E30
Bently manuals are the best but also come at a hefty price
Neil
oops, jacked the thread again - sorry

16's are the best for handling imo.. slightly less sidewall but not harsh like 17's
Hartages suit the e30 a treat, and rare also, nice choice

I don't mind if they're a bit on the pricey side (how much are they??).
I just hate the way that manual has been put together. Tells you sweet F.A. on how to strip down the interior, which i needed to do recently!!
I hate not being able to find that last hidden screw/fastener, which you get frustrated with and end up snapping/ripping off cos your patience runs out!!!
