hey folks. I've been gone a while but now i'm back - picked up a 'new' e30 today. 318i touring - im going to use it as a second car and for commuting etc as i still have my MR2 for the summer months.

the wee touring is *MINT* - has done 133k miles but is like new inside and out. no rust whatsoever! full service history, never smoked in, no parking dents - spotless.

paid Ԛ£600 quid - only has a few months left mot unfortunately but from the look of it she will fly through.

i previously had a 'tec 1 sport and before that a 320i.

rust killed it - i started to buy up parts to repair her but it was an uphill struggle so i ended up breaking her for spares. still have a tech 1 front and sideskirts and some other bits and pieces.

the body kit was hiding all kinds of horrors ->

my sport was like that! i chose to refurb it tho, whilst ScottMc decided to break. I think he chose wisely coz ive spent well over 5k on it now and its still a rolling shell! ive gone all-out on it though, but i think that Mr M may have had the brains on the subject in question.
