Stripped a few bits off the engine for cleaning and painting so looking for a few suggestions on paint colours.
Painting the rocker, inlet manifold, timing covers and possibly the AFM if its not too tricky.
Any suggestions for colours, the cabs Royal blue so something that won't look to out of place would be good.
Budget is out the window for powdercoat as I've just spunked almost £350 on parts from BMW, GSF and CP4L. So needs to be a DIY effort.
Any pics for inspiration would be a bonus.

I researched this when I did mine
General consensus seemed to be that powerdercoating was not a good idea anyway - and painting is a lot of work
Find your nearest soda/vapour blasting place - not expensive

I think black high temp paint is always nice and won't look out of place. You can run a file on the lateral lines and logos-lettering afterward for a nice contrast. With time paint will be scratched by tools etc though. Having everything blasted is nice and easier to mop.

Defo black as its easy to keep clean and looks good. Timing cover and the odd bracket etc I painted in grey/silver engine enamel. Bit of contrast but not too much

Rob that lot looks great. Does the finish last though? Do you have to do anything with it after blasting to protect it?
