It should be hanging around there somewhere! Wires are brown and blue/red or blue/black (can't remember which is LH and which is RH without looking it up.)

here is the socket, just had another good look, no wires in there, could it be down to me changing the dash do you think ? maybe the wire should have been in the dash?

That plug fits to a socket that is part of the dash loom,so as you admit to swapping the dashboard,my money is on it getting tangled up in the area behind the instrument cluster.

Oddly enough, when I converted my touring from LHD to RHD,I had the RHD dash in place and was hunting for the 'other' end of the same connector, then another zoner who was visiting commented that the car did not have any wing repeaters! :o:

Many thanks Daimlerman, i'll have a good look asap.

Love the story, bit like me fitting the dash, standing back looking prouldy of the finished job whilst standing next to the bulkhead soundproofing still on the garage floor :o: :o:

Should come off of the loom just before the lights switch and foglight switch plugs. Don't confuse it with the panel light plug for the headlamp aim adjusters (brown wire and grey/red wire).
