im up for shows this year, so with the council fest like pod, is there anywhere safe to park cars ?
this ws discussed before about a azone stnd at shows etc etc, its down to a new generation to take it forward by the sounds of it and make something of it , get the old/a new stand, a few traders with nice morsels and pukka with stickers etc, and someone doing mugs t shirts etc etc, and a lot of zoners to make the effort, if everyone went-instead of saying it was crap last year etc, then it would be better, if nothing more at least a good zone meet with people from everywhere

The pod make a charge for traders. Even if it was official merchandise for the forum, we'd have to pay a pretty large fee (few hundred I think, certainly not profitable), it was looked into a few years ago iirc.

i cant comment on if its worth it, but..would you sell a lot ? could 5 traders all come under 1 stall fee ? (even if you told them it was 1) and all chip in ? surely theres profit to be made if a few went and someone had the initiative to get a load of thing like mugs an t shirts , print pictures, etc etc, of general e30 stuff, m3s etcbillgatese30 wrote:The pod make a charge for traders. Traders aren't needed. Whats needed is the gazebos, the flags and some nice sh1tter turning up with everyone parking up properly in a nice formation rather than how everyone parked up last year
If everyone parked like this at a nice angle ////// in straight lines, the area would have looked alot better.
Nice weather always helps too.
And it needs someone to jump in and organise all this... Again, i'm out. But i'm sure someone like Rav or another meet organiser would be sh1t hot on this

I have rocked up as a trader for the last 2 years, The first year we made a profit, last year was not worth the aggro or expense. I doubt we would bother again this year unless we could shake it up some how. Maybe it could be worked out to share a traders pitch between the zone and another trader or 2?billgatese30 wrote:The pod make a charge for traders. I'm happy to lug around the gazebo and flags if they were sent to me and then set them up at Pod, and then take them home with me until The German Show and have them there on the Saturday when we arrive in the evening, but there are people more local that will be going to both shows that could do this.
As for parking, it needs to be made clear of how all zoners should be parking, give each other a good metre and half away from each other, at a slight angle, making sure you line up with the last 2...
Although, I think someone needs to confirm we even have a stand this year as I doubt anyone has!

Santa Pod is all sorted now, there is a thread to pop your name down.
Just need to find out whats going on with The German Show? Anyone know... No point in messaging anyone as the messages just stay in your outbox
