Any idea what it's worth, with no mot or tax, both near side doors dented. Otherwise in good condition, with good M40 engine.
Someone has hit my E30 (now with pics)

Someone has hit the 318i down the near side, badly denting both front and rear doors. The MOT ran out just over a week ago, and the tax runs out at the end of the month, but I was going to sort both the first week of Jan. Dont think I'll bother now

with no tax or mot and accident damaged i think you would be lucky to get Ԛ£100-Ԛ£150 tbh. did you get charged for driving without an mot?

a sad day indeed.
100 notes. no more. potential buyers will wonder WHY it has no T&T. and it also makes it a hell of a lot harder to buy/sell.
but it's worth 9 times that in parts

As long as you have understanding neighbors... who cares ??? I spent 2 weeks on this one. but it can be done in 3 DAYS.
You are legally allowed to do whatever you like to your car, as long as you have road tax.

That's not true, I think it's the "Clean Neighbourhoods Act 2005" that prohibits you from breaking a car on a public road, tax or no taxsmithy318i wrote:You are legally allowed to do whatever you like to your car, as long as you have road tax.
If it's a communal car park though then it's almost definitely private land.

Oh and someone hit my car a while back too, not a huge amount of visible damage but misaligned the front end.
Pissed me right off as the car was in reasonably good condition before that, so I know how you feel

Can't see a fixed penalty bothering you if you made 900 quid from the car.
How the fook did you do that exactly?

I could have made more, but left the windows/doors/bonnet/boot/wheels/seats/wings etc for the scrap man.

Well decided tonight to get it back on the road, dents or not
The dents, although bad, are only cosmetic, so i'll keep it for the time being. Not decided if it's worth replacing the two nearside doors yet though.

Just taken some pics of the damage:

And how it should look:

As you can see, on the whole it's pretty clean for it's age, so I'm going to get some new doors, and spray them to match

It really annoys me how someone can do damage and just feck off without leaving a note or anything. I guess they thought, "It's not my car, why should I give a sh1t!"

If it happened in the past few days then they were pissed! Simple as they thought it was a wall or sumit!Jem wrote:It really annoys me how someone can do damage and just feck off without leaving a note or anything. I guess they thought, "It's not my car, why should I give a sh1t!"![]()

Yeah, more than likely! Can see how someone could mistake an E30 for a brick wallstevetigger wrote:If it happened in the past few days then they were pissed! Is it Lachs silver mate?
If so and presuming you decide to break it then I'm looking for a front valance, co I hit some ice and ran over a hedge today, bending the bit with the fogs in.
