Hi chaps
Quick one-
I have an intermittent light warning 'Engine Oil' on the overhead check panel start to light, from ignition and when engine on
I immediately checked the levels, no issues. No red, light on dash.
Any thoughts- its gone out now.

I also had this problem last time I was using the car regularly, seemed to happen when it was cold and the car had been parked with 2 wheels on pavement. Strange one

They're usually very sensitive. Mine goes off as soon as the oil level falls a mm below halfway on the dipstick (halfway between the two marks). Also they can get gummed up....

They do get gummed up over time. Taking them out and soaking them in petrol for a few hours is recommended.

Sticky sender is the usual culprit,it's located on the n/s front 'wing' of the sump.
I usually get either the low oil or the low coolant come up when I come in from a long trip, switch off whilst I remove the security post and open the garage door,go back to the touring and the check panel looks more like a Christmas tree!
