my problem is that the headlight projector (outermost one) is loose. there are some long screws with white caps at the ends that are coming out of the projector bracket. do you guys know how to tighten up the projector?

in other words,

the problem is that one of them is not tight at all. it has a piece of white plastic at one end of the screw. the screw then passes through a hole in the project and out the other side. on the tip is a black, cylindrical piece of plastic. it is very loose and the projector is moving. everytime i try to turn the white plastic, the whole screw turns and i get no where.

here are some pics:

Welcombe to the zone.
The threaded things with the white plastic projecting inside the car are the adjustments to aim the headlamps.
You have probably got a broken plastic cup on the actual headlamp unit which the ball on the end of the adjusters locates into.
Probably time for a complete headlamp overhaul.
Take the headlamp grilles off, and unscrew three large crosshead screws holding each headlamp assembly. Take the headlamp units out, after disconnecting the plugs of course, and check that all the adjusters work.
All parts (including the outer shells of the yellow headlamp connectors, which always seem to be brittle for some reason) are available for far less money than you might think, from your dealer.

Hello, and welcome to the zone.

You can buy new adjuster screws and plastic clips at the dealer (im told)

although it isn't clear what you are describing, it sounds like the black plastic ball clip is broken. The whole screw is supposed to rotate, and the lamp surround pivots on the black plastic clip.
