Was wondering if i have a 325i convertible e30 and a 328i e36 what else i would need to convert ie mounts, wiring etc.
please explain simply for a simpleton to understand. Thanks matt

you should check out the wiki page for M5x everything is pretty much listed
wiring you have to sort it out yourself using the table found in the wiki.
you also need an e34 sump & oil pickup

Danthe. Can modify looms and manifold and downpipes if supplied . Also ews removal and remap for m52 : quality assured by many members here .

Ews = Electronic drive-away protection
Basically an in built immobiliser .
You will need from e36 the ecu chip/key , ews box and transponder
Or danthe deletes the ews ;)
Plenty of guides just look at the top of the m50/52 section and read up .
Custom mounts aren't necessary have a read in the link
