You will need
1. a jack,
2. a 17mm socket for the wheel bolts and suitable ratchet.
3. torx headed socket (T55 I think) to remove the two bolts that hold the caliper on, 4. copper grease for when fitting the new pad and a C Clamp to push the brake piston back.
I would also replace the wear pad sensors while your at it. There about £3 from CarParts4Less.

Pad warning light usually (but not always) comes on a few thousand miles before the it becomes urgent to change the pads, so don't panic just yet.
There are only two pads out of the eight that have sensors on them, so they are set to trigger early in case the ones with the sensor happen to wear more slowly than others.
Discs need to be checked for scoring and thickness before changing pads. With modern abrasive pads, one set of discs is only good for two sets of pads in my experience.

I was looking at discs and pads today and www.carparts4less.co.uk have the disks at £19 each for pagid and www.gsfcarparts.co.uk the matching pagid pads for £33.
A pain ordering from two places but saves about £15 overall.

So what's wrong with these? http://www.carparts4less.co.uk/cp4l/c/B ... 518&000036
Another £5 to deduct as discount as well, if you buy pads and discs.
