The strip seems to be too short because when I push it into the corner of the door it pops up on the bottom side of the door. :(

It's the same problem on both doors.

Does the front door seals from a 4-door E30 fit into a 2-door E30?

The seals are expensive, aren't they?

There is a join somewhere along the lower edge, under the plastic piece. Open up the gap between the ends to as large as possible, pushing the rubber hard into the upper and lower corners, then cut a section of seal from a scrapper to fit the cap.

There were no join on the rubber. It was just one piece. I cut it and it was about 3-4 cm short: https://www.dropbox.com/s/m822xhca78c3t ... 135317.jpg

Is there any difference between the rubber for 4-door and 2-door E30's? Maybe someone have tried to fit a 4-door rubber into a 2-door E30.

If it's a 4 door they are specific to front and rear. I recently put my door seals back in and couldn't get the fronts to fit, went to do the rears and it was too big. Swapped them around and all was good.

Keep forcing the rubber around and up. Judging by how much the rubber had shrunk in your original pic., you should be able to get the gap bigger than that before you drop a piece in.
Doors on a four door are smaller than those on a two door, so the seals are as well.

4dr ones would be much shorter than your pic.

Okay, well I think I will just cut my rubbers instead of buying new ones. But I'm in need of a new blower fan, perhaps you have one for sale?
