Currently rebuilding a 2.5lt M20 engine and wondering about the cooling setup

Looking to put a single exit water pump ie post facelift on the engine. Dont have a radiator sorted yet tho. I don't want to have an external coolant tank in the engine bay. Would a rad from an M42 work or something from an e36 fit?

Ideas??

Cheers

You want to use a radiator from a 6cyl petrol E36, you'll need to facelift M20 water pump and facelift coolant pipes.

On a prefacelift car you use the standard mounts but you just need to extended them to sit higher. On a facelift car I think there is a plastic mount for one side of the rad (might be a 318iS part), you need this on both sides for the E36 rad from what I understand, I've only done this swap on a prefacelift car.
