Here we go copied and pasted der
I have placed a deposit on another car and if it comes off this weekend then the faithful car will be for sale.
I do not believe that you will find a similar car with a better history than this and whilst not perfect is a very good example of the mark.
Current mileage just over 93,000
Just one owner (me) and supplying dealer ”“ owned since June 2004.
Never towed anything, no pets, & none smokers. Always warmed up correctly from cold start.
This car regularly returns 40mpg and can do 50mpg fully loaded on a run. Autos do about 7mpg less. Being a manual it has no swirl flap issues to worry about or auto gearbox failure issues.
Met Silver with following factory options:
Black leather.
Heated front seats
Bluetooth hands free
Upgraded on board computer
All the usual std Sport features such as 17”a style 66 alloys inc spare, sports seats, sports steering wheel, M sport suspension, dechrome etc
Taxed to end of November. MOT November. All original books & docs, bluetooth code, 2 keys plus the valet/wallet key
Never been through a car wash - always hand washed. No accidents and still has original dealer plates.
It is in very good condition but could do with a few minor bits of paintwork sorting to be immaculate. PDC sensors are erratic, puddle light needs renewing and drives side door lock needs attention but these are minor issues.

I reckon 3.5k would be more realistic?
yeah the dag dags seem to be worth more than petrols. I questioned the MPG but its had EGR and cat deletes which he claims improves things.
Looking at the stats they are a 2.5 litre and about 165bhp and 260lbs so down on a 3.0 litre but manual will help alot.
Its tickled me thats all. i like e39's alot espcially a wagon, the boots are huge. there is hate for dervs on here but they can't all be bad?! Plus the 6 pots sound good. i wouldn't want a 4 pot diesel unless i really really have to like a van.

A one owner car that's as well looked after as that, can't be many like that around.
Would make a very nice daily.
Shame there aren't more pictures of the car.

Seems like a nice E39, if you like that sort of thing (and I do like E39s).
I'm not quite sure where it fits in your fleet?
