New Roof

Not sure if this is the right place for this or even if im going to get a lot of stick but...

I have a sunroofed model which is suffering from the dredded rust all over the roof, i also have a non runroof spare and im considering the change....

Changing the skins over is no problem but the headlinings my be different as mine has the overhead computer, is it possible to keep this? does anyone know?

Am i doing the correct thing i have spent a fortune on the car and done the rest of the car 3 years ago but on looking at the underneath of the roof its well past saving and the bubbles are everywhere now :(

Sorry, can't help on the roof front, but I do have a set of 2 door door cards with leather inserts. They came with a breaker and the seats were retrimmed by the same guy, who did a good job.

So the non sunroof car doesn't have an overhead check panel?

I don't know tbh but mine has a lip that's held up inside the sunroof opening but if there is one that's on a non sunroof model I would b greatful if anyone knows or has one?

You need the check control/visor panel from a non sunroof car. Just get a wanted add up. :D

Just a quick other question is the headlining the same as a normal headlining or will I need that 2?

Ahhh yea, you'll need a new headlining as well. I'd get an add up ASAP as non sunroof stuff isn't very common.

Dan, have you had a quote for this? Mine's got the same problem but I can't find anyone who will touch it.

Not a easy job mind getting the replacement one off but my mate ownes his own body shop he's done quite a few, not doing it for money's sorry so wouldn't know.

Just seen your wanted add, we might have crossed our wires. Of you've already got a non sunroof headlining that will be fine, I stupidly thought you were referring to the headlining that's already in your car. :o:
