Just because you're lying in your palatial suite in the Fitz sipping champagne as the maids polish your knob....we can't all be effete bourgeousie!bab-91 wrote:snakebrain wrote:Yeah, but it hasn't got cupholders. Or a sub in the boot.bab-91 wrote:Harrumph!!

Not really. This is an engaging car to drive and maintain. They do like a good rust and you're getting no protection for your money. Walk into a dealer with that money and get something safe and insipid, with warranty and no rust issues that will go 4 times as far on the same tank of fuel. Just plug and play.bab-91 wrote:Harrumph!!

Sometimes I think petrol heads need to realise not all drivers are petrol heads! Buyers have different remits.

Dear boy! You do me a disservice! I am not part of that jumped up, barely washed rabble.snakebrain wrote: Just because you're lying in your palatial suite in the Fitz sipping champagne as the maids polish your knob....we can't all be effete bourgeousie!
Landed gentry I'll have you know... Something as common as money cannot buy position.
It was good, I couldn't taste anything due to the man flu. What a waste of a steak
Also some troglodyte's went mad when Tommy Teirnan had the crowd singing Cead mile failte.... I hummed along
but it wouldn't be Belfast without a few extremists

I don't mean everyone. Obviously if you have kids, a car to get from a-b with included warranty is the best choice. This is a car enthusiast forum and I mean car enthusiast's in general that will go and buy a new golf.Rosc0PColtrane wrote:

Personally I think it's a waste when you get something like Si's pina or this e9 for similar (ish) money but everyone is different.

Don't be ridiculous - landed gentry can't afford to stay in hotels, unless they've started taking guests in to pay for the leaky roof!bab-91 wrote:Dear boy! You do me a disservice! I am not part of that jumped up, barely washed rabble.

No, hang on a sec. Many years ago, in a pub in Bmena, this girl refuses to leave at closing time on a Tues evening. All her mates have ditched her. I chuck the second last person out and as I'm turning round from closing the door I hear, 'Well, are you gonna throw it in me or what?!'.

O god... that would scare the horn away
The most cringe worthy one I had.
"You ever had sex without a condom?"
Yes...
"Want to again?"
Complete stranger and that was her opening statement. Doirty!

Completely agree. I'd love to be wealthy enough to run that as a daily. There's nothing enthusiastic about a Golf!!!bab-91 wrote:I don't mean everyone.
