Hi everyone, I've got a query that I hope you can help me with.

I bought a full suspension kit from a company recently and I'm not convinced that I've got what I paid for.
I originally asked for a Bilstein kit but he offered the H&R kit instead for less money so I went along with that.
The H&R kit arrived but the front struts are inserts instead of a full strut.
I queried what had been delivered and he's come back saying that there H&R and Bilstein don't do a full strut, only an insert.
Looking at their website something doesn't tie up because I can't see any mention of an "insert" kit

Any ideas ?

Thanks
Darren

The only suspension kits that would come as a full built up strut would be a coil over set up. Bilstein's, H&R, etc will only come as inserts.

H&Rs are good quality kit I have had them in the past and the cup kit is a particularly good performance set up.

Yep I've got the H&R Cup kit, they only come with inserts, as do all suspension kits. Some coilovers come with struts, but most coilovers are inserts only that you have to weld to the struts

So, don't worry.
The struts come apart and the inserts go inside.
