no probs ant, anytime.
small update.......
fitted the electronic throttle pedal assembly.
there's 6 wires coming off it that will run to the ecu, i've threaded them behind the carpet
(through the old pedal stop hole)

the fuel system is almost finished.
the e60 m5 has 2 pumps, which are controlled via the ekp module.
this module is found in the e60's boot, and gets information from the ecu, and a fuel pressure sensor (which i've yet to get). the ekp controls the speed of the pumps, depending on how much fuel is needed.
only one pump runs, upto 5000rpm, after 5000rpm, or when full throttle is seen, then both pumps are run.
both pumps, and the filter, with a 6 bar regulator attached to the filter,
are all inside the tank

i'm deep into the wiring at the momentgoosiegander wrote:Any updates?
i'm having to check, double check and triple check, before i solder any joints.
i've mounted the ekp module inside the offside rear quarter,
as its near the fuel pumps, and i can pick up +power from the battery nearby.

also, i've got the business end of the engine harness into the cockpit.
i'm gonna mount the ecu behind the center console

i'm currently wiring up the c101 plug, fuel pressure sensor, also, i've had to fit a vacuum pressure sensor on the vacuum pipework.

Loving this project while at the same time being sad that it's so clearly beyond the realms of me to attempt something similar.
Can't wait to see some videos of the finished project.

i'd like to have it running by the end of the weekend too,
but i suspect i have just a bit too much to do, to have it running by then.....
i'm working until midday tomorrow, then the rugby is on,
but i'll do my best.
