Hi,

Any idea where I can get a Brake calliper for the M3 (drivers side) the piston no longer works and calliper is jammed.... does free up once in a while however jammed majority of the time. I have tried euro and g&s neither have any... don't want to go to dealer...
Anyone here selling or know a company who rebuild these.

Turk had a pair for sale a few weeks ago, he may still have them. You could try and strip it down clean inside the piston housing/ piston, get a new seal kit and it will prob be good as new. Succsessfully done my rears, and there much better than a second hand caliper.

Talk to Big Red Brakes, they might be able to recondition the caliper for not a lot of money, rather having to replace it. I do recall them doing an exchange service.

Im no mechanic but found it dead esay doing it myself, i think in x work's thread he goes through it step by step, the caliper repair kit was (off top of my head £20) from bm,s.The seals are better quality from BMW than what you might get from a firm that rebuilds calipers, but they do come with a warranty i suppose.
