I doubt anybody will see me at any meets as my car will be off the road from Jan 5th. Amount of time it will be off is dependant on the Judge. Let's just leave it at that

sorry to hear that mate,so it wont be a happy christmas for you then
i got banned in 1995 for 4 years and 150 hours community service for doing 132 in a 60 in the early hours of the morning, was a nightmare not being able to drive that long but it gave me the time to build my project
are you going to allaborate on your case?

4 years! I'm looking at 12months according to the copper. Possible that I can take a "course" to have it reduced by three months. Am gonna plead the need car for work case and see if I can get it reduced even more but I doubt it. And they won't take kindly the outstanding speeding ticket (hence I'm unable to produce my driving licence).
Not sure if I'm gonna keep car for project or sell up and save for a decent sport (325). Have to see how things go.

im guessing that if your expecting a years ban hoshy, but reckon it can be reduced by 3 months if you attend a "course" then it sounds like either dangerous/careless driving or the dreaded drink driving.....correct me if im wrong......

fuzzy has hit the nail on the head. it was the dreaded drink. I'm *so * ashamed!
Dan, I'm thinking you're car might make a good lab-rat for the MAF project if you're up for it? I'm gonna be leaving the car in Shrewsbury whilst I'm not driving it so I need somebody else's e30 to play with

There aint a course you can do to reduce the ban length
And you can only appeal to the courts (about Ԛ£500 to get it that far) for a ban reduction if you got 3 years or more. I got 2
If you do get it back into the courts it could also be made longer
I wish id have been pissed

Its why I wont D&D even if i feel fine. The risk of losing my licence is to great a deterant. I even had a dry Christmas day as I was driving, got pished from 9pm onward though once my baby was tucked up in her garage.hoshy wrote:fuzzy has hit the nail on the head. it was the dreaded drink. May book up some regular train tickets to do work on the car once every two weeks or so. would be nice to make her sweet
