Haven't tried them, but sound like a good idea.

They are a good idea. I was given a set, stayed on my BBS for about a year before removing. And they are pretty strong, saved my wheels from kerbing marks

Unless someone pops up and advises there are problems with these I'm going to buy a set.
As much as I try to drive in a way which avoids most kerbs and keeps my alloys kerbing free at all times, you can't legislate for other people's driving and I'd rather hit a kerb than another car if the choice arose (which has happened many times in the past).

sounds like a good idea for some uses - like winter, or on polished rims when driving to a show or something or in rain, a nice polished rim you could maybe smear something like vaseline around, put it on, to protect them for a period
but permanantly ? sounds a bit gay, or unless of course to make battered kerbed rims loook nicer maybe
i think im going to buy a set, as i have a set of wheels with a polished rim, would be useful for protecting them
