Team,

I have recently spotted that the NSR of my convertible is sitting a bit lower than the OSF and can only suspect a broken spring or the likes (unable to check as yet but i am on it).
Just to get a guide i phoned BMW to get a quote for a pair of rear springs and was hit with £180 for the pair.

What i wonder is does anyone know how much the motorsport spring is 'lowered' compared to a regular spring i.e. 40mm??
This would allow me to purchase the equivalent spring yet keep the original ride height for the car.

ANy help greatly appreciated as always.

15mm standard - maybe more now due to sagging - but you can go for a eibach setup of 30mm for the same price

if you are comparing front and rear suspension - it might be the trailing arm bushes that need replacing instead
