Assuming you mean these:

Look OK on the track car I suppose, but on a convertible?

Or DTM-style as in the pic.

Unless they're the rare as fook Ac schnitzer mirrors which is very unlikly as there like gold dust then i would't bother, if u owned a nova or a corsa then maybe! even the snyde 1's 4 the e36 r shite!!
next you'll be askin if its cool to be seen wit neons, then u no u should of bought a nova [with 3 spokes an a shopping list]

Thats my opinion anyway keep it real!! not Chav massive!!
Have a good new year not a chav 1!!

here's a pic of M3 style mirrors on my E30 had them on when I bought it, since took them off and got the standard ones back on, do what you like to your car if you like the style go for it, but one thing I'd advise is one thing I wouldnt change is the mirrors as they suit the car E30 better.

John, he has a picture somewhere (might even be on the old zone) where he has the hard top on and is doing a burnout (with a yellow e36 m3 in the background)...it looks amazing, that is one nice cab fellac76jon wrote:i love that convertibleluxconvertible wrote:

These are carbon fibre dtm ones, look better than the standard ones imo, (when i was lookin at them i had one side with the standard one with these and it made the standard one look like an elephant ear or summat lol) even if you cant see as wide out of them

ive got less weight than a normal m3 atm so it sits slightly higher than it should, no spare wheel and small case diff in the rear and puny m40 up front
with a spare, large case and s50 it should sit a tiny bit lower

My opinion, you cant beat the standard mirrors. I got given some e36 m3 style ones by a mate, and they were rubbish looking in my mind! Keep the origional!!!
