Okay this may be a dumb question, but basicaly i was driving my car last night when i noticed the car's electricity would suddenly disapear whilst cruising at 30mph. All instrument lights turn off and the car stalls but only for a second then the power would come on. This done the same thing 3 - 4 times whilst driving and gradualy happened more frequently.
I then leave my car turned off for a few hours, come back to it to turn it on. It starts without any hesitation, battery dosent sound flat at all, however 5 seconds after being started all electrics go, car stalls again and theres nothing. Car dosent turn over, no iterior lights no central locking. At this point i popped open the bonnet to so if anything obvious was happening, both battery terminals where tightly in place, however if i was to give the positive terminal a bit of a wiggle it would spark at the tightening screw, is that normal?
Anyway i got no idea what it is, would it be a good idea to try jump starting the car? Any suggestions would be great, thanks.
Dan.
Car's electricity keeps cutting out.

If your getting a spark when you moving the leads it mesns that its not correctly connected.
Even if your clamp is tight you still should check the tightness of where the actuall cable terminates into the clamp..

I would start by cleaning those battery terminals, remove from the battery first!
Also remove and clean the battery earth terminal, and the engine/frame earth lead.

Okay so cleaned all the terminals and reconnected it all and its fine now. I dident think that the minor amount of grime would of prevented a current from passing but i guess i learn something new every day ;) Thanks for the help!
